Microchipping
Microchip identification involves injecting a small, polymer-coated device under the skin or in the muscle of animals. It is about one centimeter long, and the diameter of a pencil lead. The chip can be scanned to detect a nine-digit number that identifies the pet. Once the number is read, a phone call provides the information needed to contact the owner and return a lost pet.

If you find a lost pet, you can bring this animal in

and we will scan it for a microchip free of charge. Microchips are a great way to insure the safe return of your pet if he/she was to run away. It's a simple procedure, call us for details.

Your pet is more than just a pet...they're a part of your family. You expect the same kind of experienced, concerned care for your pet as you do the rest of your family.

That's why we provide friendly, qualified care whenever you need it. Our mission is to provide quality

veterinary medicine, surgery, and preventive care in a caring environment.

Basic care
We love having visits from you and your pet, but we’d rather see you for annual check-ups than for problems.

The best way to sustain health is through good basic care.

A healthy dog’s needs aren’t much different from yours:

your pet needs plenty of clean fresh water, a place to relieve themselves, nutritious food, a safe place to sleep, regular exercise and play time, and equally important: love

and attention from his or her human family.

Attention to these basics and regular visits to the vet will

help to maintain your dog’s natural state of  health.

Dr. Meyer (assisted by technician, Teddy) is doing an ACL/CCL knee repair using a "Tightrope" procedure for the surgery, a less invasive method than conventional surgery, and requiring less recovery time. Your pet will be 95% functional 2 months after surgery.
